Carbon capture enters the era of "Intelligent Automation"

Driven by the "Dual Carbon" goals, carbon capture technology is becoming a key part of industrial innovation. However, many factories and laboratories are still grappling with the same problem: how to measure CO₂ concentration quickly and accurately?

In the past, manual measurement took at least half an hour for a single process, was prone to human error, and resulted in data lag.

Now, there is a revolutionary answer to this problem – the world's first intelligent online CO₂ analyzer has been officially released, equipping carbon capture with a "smart eye"!

What is an intelligent online CO₂ analyzer?

Simply put, you only need to connect the liquid to be tested to the device. The rest – sampling, filtration, reaction, cleaning, calculation, data transmission – is all completed automatically. It's like a "fully automatic coffee machine": add the raw material, press a button, and get the finished product.

A single test requires as little as 0.5 mL of sample, which can be recovered after testing. The testing interval can be set (adjustable from 5 to 9999 minutes), allowing for timed sampling and real-time data upload, truly enabling unattended operation.

Why is it called the "world's first"?

We have achieved five major breakthroughs:

Fully automated process: From sampling to cleaning, no manual intervention is required, enabling continuous automatic operation;

Switchable multiple units: L/L, mol/L, mol/mol to meet different process requirements;

Accurate and reliable data: Utilizes a self-developed data processing model and high-precision detector, with measurement error ≤ ±3.5%;

Suitable for both outdoor and indoor use: The device features an integrated outer cover with IP55 protection rating; uses multi-process anti-corrosion treatment and can operate continuously in environments ranging from -40°C to 55°C;

Convenient and intelligent interaction: 7-inch color touch screen with a minimalist Chinese interface for clear and straightforward operation.

It is for these reasons that we call it the "world's first intelligent online CO₂ analyzer." It transitions the carbon capture process from being "experience-driven" to "data-driven," providing a precise "measuring stick" for the cause of carbon neutrality.

Where can the intelligent online CO₂ analyzer be used?

[Case Study 1] A state-owned enterprise's green and low-carbon demonstration project

In December 2025, 8 intelligent online CO₂ analyzers were shipped from Beijing and successfully arrived in Xinjiang. Upon arrival, the general contractor organized the construction unit, supervision unit, construction party, and supplier to conduct equipment unboxing and acceptance at the general contractor's warehouse based on the equipment procurement contract and technical agreement.

The equipment is expected to commence operation in June 2026.

This device is used in GeCarbon Harmony's self-developed 500-ton DAC direct air capture pilot plant. During the plant's operation, the analyzer monitors CO₂ concentration in real-time with high precision.

An engineer at GeCarbon Harmony said: "Previously, we couldn't monitor the CO₂ concentration in the absorbent in real-time; the data was always lagging. Now, with the analyzer in the capture loop, we just need to set the parameters, and it can continuously and automatically test in real-time."

The intelligent online CO₂ analyzer is an exclusive monitoring device independently developed by GeCarbon Harmony (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. It is also a key component of the company's high-efficiency, high-stability, low-energy direct air capture technology.

GeCarbon Harmony focuses on the R&D and commercial application of DAC direct air capture technology, with applications extended to industrial flue gas CCUS projects. The company is committed to providing efficient, low-cost carbon removal solutions to help relevant regions and enterprises achieve net-zero emission goals.
