Have you ever thought that one day, the fuel used for airplanes soaring in the blue sky might actually come from the air we breathe?
This is not science fiction. Since last year, CarbonMetamorphosis, as a strategic investor in GeCarbon Harmony, has planned to jointly promote the industrial application of DAC in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), turning the dream of "air into fuel" into reality.

CarbonMetamorphosis: Making Carbon Dioxide the Petroleum of a New Era

In January of this year, an important moment arrived in Shanghai Lingang – the CarbonMetamorphosis R&D and Innovation Center was officially inaugurated, and its first hundred-ton scale atmospheric source e-SAF (electro-Sustainable Aviation Fuel) production line was simultaneously launched. This marks a key step for China, moving from the laboratory to industrialization in the field of Direct Air Capture (DAC) and conversion of carbon dioxide.
CarbonMetamorphosis, co-founded by Yu Xiang Ren, former Global Vice President of Tesla, and Hongxi Zhang, a seasoned chemical expert, has a bold vision: to break dependence on fossil carbon sources and make carbon dioxide the "petroleum of a new era."
They have formulated a clear "three-step" strategy:
Extensive Capture: Utilize large-scale DAC technology to capture carbon dioxide directly from the air, no longer limited to exhaust gases from power plants or chemical factories.
Ingenious Conversion: Convert the captured carbon dioxide into various carbon-based products such as aviation fuel, gasoline, eco-friendly fibers, and biodegradable plastics.
Recycling: Ultimately achieve a complete closed loop of "air carbon capture – conversion – use – recapture," fundamentally replacing fossil energy.

GeCarbon Harmony: Providing Low-Cost Green Carbon Sources for the SAF Industry
GeCarbon Harmony will play a crucial role as a "raw material supplier" in the upstream of the SAF industrial chain.
This high-tech enterprise focusing on DAC technology R&D and application – GeCarbon Harmony (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. – has just delivered an impressive report card in Haidian District, Beijing: its self-developed 500-ton DAC direct air capture pilot plant, after two months of full-process testing, has achieved technical indicators that lead the industry.
The plant adopts a modular design, featuring a stable capture process, high carbon dioxide purity, and energy consumption indicators reaching internationally advanced levels, successfully completing the key leap from laboratory to engineering scale.
This means it can provide a stable and reliable "green carbon source" for the SAF industry at a lower cost and higher efficiency.

GeCarbon Harmony plans to vigorously advance the innovation and development of DAC technology in the future, continuously promoting technological progress in e-SAF, green methanol, and other green carbon-related industries, providing a complete "Chinese solution" for global carbon source substitution and energy security.
Capture carbon from the air, then let the carbon "fly" again. This green revolution, driven by technological innovation, is accelerating towards us!
